"Maisie and I used to do it [stay inside] together. I think being friends with each other was quite destructive because we were going through the same thing”, Sophie said in a recent interview.

While making an appearance on Dr. Phil's Phil in the Blanks podcast, Sophie Turner, who plays the role of Sansa Stark in HBO’s smash hit series Game of Thrones, talked about her friendship with on-screen sister and off-screen best friend Maisie William, stating that there was a point their friendship was "quite destructive" during filming the TV show.

Sophie and Maisie had established a strong bond ever since being cast in the fantasy drama when they were just teen girls. The pair has been giving us primary friendship goals from sharing matching tattoos to showing their support to each other on social media.

Also on the show, Sophie Turner opened up about her mental health battle, admitting that online criticism over her looks and acting on the HBO popular series led her to have suicidal thoughts.

The 23-year-old star added that she has decided to step away from the spotlight and acting for a while to focus more on her health.

Meanwhile, the final season of Games of Thrones has been grabbing lots of attention with the first episode breaking HBO’s viewing records and the rest of the season is expected to follow the same path. There are still five episodes left to finally know who will defeat the Night King and his White Walkers as well as win the Iron Throne.
