Oscars 2019 successfully took place at the Dolby Theatre. The Best Actor award belonged to Rami Malek while the Best Actress one belonged to Olivia Colman.

The most awaited Academy Awards - Oscars 2019 successfully took place at the Dolby Theatre, brought about many surprising for both the celebrities and audiences around the world. Reportedly, the Best Actor award belonged to Rami Malek while the Best Actress belonged to Olivia Colman.
Best Actor
Rami Malek, Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody by Bryan Singer, received the Best Actor award from Allison Janney and Gary Oldman, the winner of 2018.
To express thoroughly about the popular music legend Mercury, Malek spent months researching and learning Mercury's movement, voice and learning how to play guitar, piano. All his efforts deserved to the award.
Best Actress
With the upset performance in The Favorite, Olivia Colman's victory was said to be unconvincing. Reportedly, this is the first Oscar award in her career. Previously, she has collected four British Academy Awards and two Golden Globes.
Sam Rockwell and Frances McDormand gave the prominent award for the actress.
Best Supporting Actor
Mahershala Ali received the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in Green Book by Peter Farrelly. This is the second time Ali received the Oscar. The first time was for his prominent performance in Moonlight. Ali is the second black actor whose two Oscars in casting career, following Denzel Washington.
Green Book is the story written on the biography of pianist Don Shirley portraying the relationship between Shirley and his white driver, Viggo Mortensen in a journey through the South of the United States.
Ali still received the award in spite of some assertions from Shirley's family that Green Book told an inaccurate story about Shirley and some accusations relating to sexual impropriety of Peter Farrelly.
Best Animated Feature
After holding the Best Animated Feature Award for 18 years, Disney had to yield it to Sony Pictures with Spider-Man. This classic hero brought the first Oscar to Sony Pictures.

Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay
Brian Currie, Nick Vallelonga, and Peter Farrelly received the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay from Samuel L Jackson and Brie Larson.
The legendary director Spike Lee received the first Oscar throughout his career with BlacKkKlansman.
Best Picture
Having beaten Bohemian Rhapsody, Black Panther, The Favourite, BlacKkKlansman, Roma, Vice, and A Star Is Born, Peter Farrelly's Green Book won the Oscar for Best Picture.
Best Director
The legendary director Alfonso Cuaron had a fruitful night with three Oscar for the Best Director, Best Cinematography and Foreign Language Film.
