The Game of Thrones series is going to an end with the final season coming, and HBO is still keep everything in secret as always. They even filmed different versions in case something gets leaked.

Here is every detail that has been revealed so far about the 8th season. Check it out!

Mysterious posters released

On February 8, HBO posted a series of 20 new posters of the characters on Twitter. It seems to be suggesting a final battle to find out who will end up on the Iron Throne.

Emojis for GoT’s fans

The GoT’s official Twitter account has also released new emojis for the characters. However, those emojis look too cute for a show full of deaths and killing like this. Click the tweet to see the emojis.

New images

Some new images of the new characters were revealed on February 6, but they did not give us any clue about the final season.

A trailer released

On January 14, the teaser trailer for the upcoming season has been released. In the trailer, we can see Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, and Arya Stark walking in the Crypts of Winterfell where all their ancestors were rested. The three siblings got together at the end and seemed to be fighting against something coming up to them.

One interesting thing that was noticed is that Bran Stark wasn’t in the crypts and the statue of Jon Snow looked older than the other ones. Is it just a coincidence or is it a hint?

Also, the show is officially scheduled to be on air on Apri 14.

The first promotional trailer revealed

The first trailer of the final season was released on Nov 13 last year. Back then, it only confirmed that GoT would be back on April 2019. Later, the first images of the characters were featured on Entertainment Weekly.

Only six episodes

The final season will only have six episodes rather than ten like other seasons. Instead, each episode will be more than 90 minutes long. According to Liam Cunningham, it took the crew six months to finish the previous season, and they will do even more for the finale, which means the episodes will be longer.

Will there be a prequel?

Here’s the good news for GoT’s fans. Although there hasn’t been any official announcement made on the prequel yet, but rumour has it that it’s named “The Long Night” and will be starring Naomi Watts.

The show will be set in thousands of year before everything in the GoT we’ve been watching even happened. George R. R. Martin will be one of the main plot writers of the prequel which is expected to be released in 2020.

A special reunion

Yes, that’s right. It’s confirmed that the characters that were killed ruthlessly and couldn’t make it to the final season (even including Ned Stark who died from the very first season) will be getting together for a reunion special.

However, the reunion won’t be shown on HBO; it will be included in the GoT box set. So you’ll have to wait until the finale ended to see it.

Long anticipated meeting

The war against the White Walkers is already happening, which leads to many interactions and combinations of the characters. HBO had released a new trailer for the show when Golden Globe was taking place, and we can see Jon Snow taking Daenerys Targaryen to Winterfell where she got to meet Sansa Stark. First meeting the Mother of Dragons, Sansa has told her,
