On Saturday, American singer-songwriter Katy Perry launched a completely new cropped hair look via Chris Appleton’s Instagram courtesy. Chris Appleton, who is the go-to hairstylist of Kim Kardashian is behind this look.

Back in the year of 2017, Katy Perry cut off all her black hair and debuted blonde crop, her current signature. When the singer had a speech on the series of Viceland Therapist, she unveiled that there existed a profound meaning behind her brand new look.

Katy explained that when she cut her iconic hair, she could find relief from the public persona to return to the “authentic self”.

However, it appears that the singer has dramatically changed since an interview dating back two years ago, in which Katy admitted she had to struggle with the thoughts of committing suicide.

It seems that devoting this period of time to finding herself actually helped her relationship. In February of this year, the Roar singer declared that she agreed to marry Orlando Bloom. Then currently, she feels clearly pleased with herself to change her hair one more time.
