Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald receives positive reactions from Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood in Harry Porter) concerning the role of prominent English actor Jude Law. In this film, Jude Law is seen as an young version of Hogwarts headmaster, Albus Dumbledore.
Evanna Lynch expressed her satisfied feeling when hearing Law will take on the role of Dumbledore. "There's no one who can take on the role of Dumbledore as perfectly as Law. Law owns almost nice, serene characteristics of Dumbledore. In Fantastic Beasts, you will see a new Dumbledore with old manipulative characteristics. He strives to gather people to fight against evil and keep world peace", the actor excitingly shared with The Hollywood Reporter.
Following the first part of Fantastic Beasts, Crimes of Grindelwald and JK Rowling will take audiences to the adventure in Hogwarts world. The movie will exploit more details in the old Potter series including Nagini, dreadful Voldemort's snake. Also, director David Yates will explore the mysterious backstories of Grindelwald and Dumbledore when they were young.
Evanna Lynch emphasized that the audiences will love the secondary characters more than ever. "I cannot wait for the rest of the fans to find out", said Lynch.
Besides Jude Law, Fantastic Beasts also stars Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston and other prominent names of Hollywood.
Released on November 8, 2018, The Crimes of Grindelwald received positive reviews from audiences. Predictably, the movie can collect more than $74.4 million of the first Fantastic Beasts' box office collection. However, the second Fantastic Beasts also received mixed reviews from the critics. Caryn James loved the "vibrant, engaging improvement" of the sequel whereas the others felt “overburdened” by too much detail and characters.
