Music film Her Smell, starring Elisabeth Moss, had its first showing all around the world on September 9th at TIFF 2018. In Her Smell, the actress portrays Becky Something, a self devastating musician. She drives her connections with her family, followers, and band-mates to the restriction as she battles with drug addiction. Meanwhile, she attempts to re-involve the vision that had once forced her band to enormous crossover success.
To get ready for this role, Elisabeth Moss learned the biographies of many celebrities. All of them suffered from substance addiction. Elisabeth Moss told IndieWire: "All the typical suspects was very helpful. I’d already watched Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck. But these days I have watched Amy, the Amy Winehouse documentary about one million times. And also problems about Marilyn Monroe, such as that kind of problem, just to get a grip of that reputation and that dependence. Anything I might find about someone who was amazingly famous or favorable, but also carrying out addiction".
In addition, Elisabeth Moss also paid time out with retrieving addicts to comprehend the circumstances from real life background, not just restricted in films and books. Alex Ross Perry has directed and penned Her Smell. Her previous movie titled Golden Exits had its world premiere at 2017 Sundance Film Festival. Amber Heard and Cara Delevingne also star in the movie.
