Yesterday, the entire country was put in extreme shock by the sudden demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. According to reports, the actor was found hanging himself at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai but the police have not found any suicide note from him in their initial investigation.

Along with the condolences which are being flooded on social media from the netizens, reasons why Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide, needless to say, have become the talk of the town.

Did he hint at his death on social media?

While reports have it that the actor wasn’t feeling well recently and he was suffering from depression before ending his life. In fact, Sushant always held a strong connection with his late mother and missed her all the time.

The last picture on Instagram was also for his mom. Sharing a monochrome collage on June 3, Sushant talked about the fleeting life by writing,

“Blurred past evaporating from teardrops. Unending dreams carving an arc of smile. And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two…”

In fact, that was not the first time the actor hinted at his depression and his feeling for his mom. Before the last Instagram post, the actor also took to his Twitter handle to say that

"You promised you would be with me forever, And I promised you that I would keep smiling, no matter what. It seems we both were wrong, mother."

What actually happened at the night he committed suicide?

That was on social media. Why Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide is way more complicated. First, the police found no suicide note (as mentioned above). Second, reports say that some of his friends seemed to be at his home on the day of his passing away. What actually happened that night is something that the cops are still investigating right now.

Is that a domino effect?

The fact is that Sushant ended his life just a few days after his ex-manager Disha Salian committing suicide by jumping off from the 14^th floor of a building in Malad. Even though they hadn’t worked with each other anymore, they still remained a close relationship and supported each other.
