The 37-year-old rapper Nicki Minaj is pregnant! She has been baring a baby bump since her pregnancy announcement in July. The star took to her Instagram handle to share a series of extravagant pictures showing her cradling her bump. Nicki can be seen putting on a floral bikini, colorful wigs, and high heels.

Captioned “#Preggers” in a photo, Nicki explained more in another one:

“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”

Such pictures, needless to say, have raised a few eyebrows and the Super Bass singer was instantly showered with congratulation messages from her friends and fans.

Remember last year, Nicki had left her fans in shock by announcing her retirement plan and desire of starting a family in a then-deleted tweet.

Her reveal came just two months after she teased that she would share a picture of her budding belling. Now, it seems like she keeps her promise.

Who is the father of Nicki Minaj’s baby?

For those who are unversed, Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty (42) walked down the aisle in October 2019. According to a report published in TMZ, the couple was childhood sweetheart in Queens. They were first a couple when the rapper was just a 16-year-old teenager and still living in their hometown. He was also one of Minaj’s first real relationships.

In fact, Petty has a history of criminal activity. In 1995, when he was a teen, Petty was convicted of attempted rape. The report had it that Nicki’s husband had served a supervised release from 2013 to 2018 after spending seven years behind bars.
