Deepika Padukone’s latest project was Padmaavat helmed by Sanjay Leela, also starring Ranveer Singh. She has also finished shooting for the next movie. This is a Meghna Gulzar’s directorial, which also sees the participation of Vikrant Massey playing the main character. The story of the movie is based on the true story of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Aggarwal. The movie is scheduled to be put to the front on January 10 next year.

The film stars Ranveer Singh as legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and Deepika essays the role of his wife, Romi Dev. Besides, she will also take a role in ’83 of Kabir Khan. She portrays Romi Dev, the wife of the ever great cricketer Kapil Dev, who is played by Ranveer Singh.
