Deepika Padukone Shines Bright Like A Diamond In Denim-On-Denim Look

Recently making headlines for her no-makeup photoshoot, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is making waves again and this time she is trending on US-based magazine. Slaying as the cover girl for the International Porter Edit Magazine for their August issue, Deepika sure knows how to rock each look.

Featuring on the magazine cover, Deepika can be seen donning an oversized denim jacket paired with denim jeans. Opting for nude makeup, she accessorised with the diamonds and let her outfit do the talking. With everything on-point, be it her outfit, hair, or expressions, DP's cover shoot is everything in the lines of perfect!

Deepika shared the magazine cover on her Instagram account and captioned it as, "Shine bright like a diamond!?[with a whole lot of denim!]? #PorterEdit @PorterMagazine." Mesmerised by her stunning photographs, hubby Ranveer Singh cannot stop praising her beauty as he commented saying: ''Shifting goalposts, I like that!''

In an exclusive interview with Porter, the actress has spoken lengthy about depression, diversity and what the West could learn from the East and more.

Being asked about the feelings when wearing the prosthetics, confronted by her own heavily scarred face, she replied surprisingly,

Last year, Deepika Padukone made it to the top five of Forbes India’s 2018 list of richest Indians, becoming the first woman to do so. Also, she was the only Indian actress to feature in the Time 100 Influential People in the World.

Talking about the idea of turning from Bollywood to Hollywood, she said it is about pushing the boundaries for myself.

"I feel that’s a bit dated. Today, the world is much more than that. If anything, I think today the West is looking east."

About "shifting goalposts" in Bollywood, the Bollywood diva said,

For the unversed, Deepika joined the star cast of '83 very late. Well, now she is also the co-producer of the much-awaited sports drama. Deepika, who has been cast opposite her husband Ranveer Singh in the movie, when she was cast in the film, she didn’t inform her husband herself.

Deepika also says that she was drawn to the movie '83 because she wanted to tell the story of "the sacrifices that a wife or family need to make to enable [an] athlete to achieve his goals." As her father Prakash Padukone was a professional badminton player, Deepika says that she has seen the same while being with her parents.

Earlier, there were speculations that Deepika is pregnant, however, she has shut down the rumor like a boss. After marriage, DeepVeer's relationship has blossomed and grown further. We hope the rumor turns true someday!
