Virat Kohli To Enter Top World's Highest Paid Athletes List By Forbes

Virat Kohli makes India proud when becoming the only Indian cricketer to represent in World's Highest Paid Athletes List by Forbes.

On the playground, Virat Kohli is an incomparable leader of the Indian cricket team who is known as the breaker of many world record. People called him "The legend in the making" and now we have another reason to believe he is doing his best for the title.

Today the captain once again makes India proud by becoming the only Indian to present in the list of World's Highest Paid Athletes announced by Forbes. Virat Kohli is ranked at the 100th, surpassed him are FIFA Ballon d'Or Lionel Messi.

According to the report, the captain of the cricket team brings home a whopping amount of $21 million from the endorsement alone, not to mention $4 million he has from winning and his annual salary. In total, he is estimated to earn as much as $25 million.

However, last year Virat Kohli reached 83rd spot through his earning this year increased $1 million compared to 2018 which took him to the 100th spot for now. Virat Kohli still stands out among another most popular athlete across the globe as he topped ICC Test and ODI for many times.

For example, he was named the fastest captain who completed 8000 runs international cricket with 137 innings or the first captain to score 1000+ test run. Part of Virat Kohli's income also comes from advertising as he is an ambassador for many sports brand.

Earlier, Virat Kohli has an excellent performance before former world cup champion Australia. The cricketer is expected to bring glory for the Indian team in the next match which takes place on 13 June 2019 against New Zealand, the team also has a spectacular season.
