To prepare for the Indian Test Team against England in February 2021, the best players have been gathered in Chennai, including Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. An 18-member squad would soon be announced for the upcoming 5-match series.

Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandaya are back!

Yesterday January 28, the regular Indian captain Virat Kohli was spotted at the airport leaving for Chennai. The cricket star wore ton-sur-ton in black sweater and brownish trousers, carrying black luggages.

Virat Kohli had missed 3 Test matches in Australia during his paternity leave. The captain reportedly met other members virtually before returning to lead the team on the field.

Though most fans were excited seeing King Kohli back, some netizens didn’t approve of his attitude towards the cameraman in the clip. To be specific, when the guy said Congratulations, Virat Kohli should have responded him politely instead of neglecting him. However, his behavior was understandable when he was on the way to the flight gate.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya took to his Instagram a photo of him and his baby boy on the flight to Chennai. This was the very first flight of the newborn. He clearly liked the flight a lot as we could see the million-dollar smile on his face.

Hardik Pandya hasn’t played a Test match since the 2018 tour in England. That’s why his return this time is much anticipated by all cricket fans. However, we are not sure whether Hardik Pandya would play as a specialist batsman or an all-rounder.

Besides the comeback of Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, the Indian Test Team also includes the all-rounder Axar Patel. He played as the left-arm spinner in the most recent Ranji Trophy season for Gujarat and also had his last international match in 2018 in South Africa.

To fill the void of Ravindra Jadeja, Patel might have a slot in the Test team against England this February. Prithvi Shaw, Navdeep Saini and T.Natarajan also stand a high chance of joining the squad.

Several players are probably out due to injuries, such as Hanuma Vihari, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami. Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur are highly likely kept in the team.
