Varun Dhawan’s Next With Dharma Productions Titled Mr Lele

Rumours have been rife lately that Varun Dhawan is set to join forces with filmmaker Shashank Khaitan once again. The duo has earlier worked on such successful films as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

Joining Varun Dhawan on the cast of the forthcoming project will be talented actresses Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani, and Karan Johar will bankroll it under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Spilling some more beans on the upcoming project, a source in the know informs a publication that after contemplating several options, Shashank and KJo finalised the trio. They liked the script and were immediately on board.

We hear that the makers have also locked the official title of the movie. It will be called Mr Lele. Another source says that after contemplating several options, the makers have zeroed in on Mr Lele as it suits the story best. The source goes on to add that the project is expected to begin production towards the end of February or early March. It will be majorly shot in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is awaiting the release of his next film Street Dancer 3D. The film reunites the actor with ABCD 2 (2015) co-star Shraddha Kapoor and director Remo D’souza. Varun Dhawan is also working with father David Dhawan on the remake of comic-caper Coolie No. 1 (1995). The film also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role.

Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, is riding high on the huge success of her latest film Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019). Kiara Advani is looking forward to the release of her next movie Good Newwz alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is scheduled to release on 27^th December 2019.
