Bollywood actor Navtej Hundal went to be with the Lord in a peaceful evening on 8 April 2019. The actor was last seen on the silver screen in Uri: The Surgical Strike in the role of Aditya Dhar's home minister. The film which has Vicky Kaushal as the male lead actor was a blockbuster and ruled the marquee for weeks.

Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) was the first to announce the sad news on their social media.

Navtej is survived by his beloved wife and two lovely daughters. One of his daughters, Avantika Hundal, choose to follow her father steps, making her entry to Bollywood in the role of Mihika in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which has Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi joined the cast.

Apart from acting career, Navtej Hundal is also a teacher for acting classes. Some of his successful films can namely as Khalnayak and TV show Bharat Ek Khoj.
