“Tumbbad” Set For A Special Screening To Celebrate One Year Of Release

Tumbbad, released in 2018, was a sleeper hit which went on to clench several awards and accolades for its novel narrative, cinematography, etc.

Tumbbad is one of the most loved movies of recent times. Released in 2018, the film received great critical acclaim and turned out to be a sleeper hit at the box-office. Not just critics and audiences’ hearts, the horror-drama managed to win several awards at various award functions.

It bagged eight nominations at the 64th Filmfare Awards and walked away with three awards, for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Sound Design.

To celebrate the one year of the release of Tumbbad, actor-producer Sohum Shah is organizing a special screening on 12^th October.

We also hear that Tumbbad was being considered as India’s official entry to the Oscars last year. However, it could not make the cut.
