Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is universally known for her bubbly nature and down-to-earth manner. With the out-of-the-box choice of films and impeccable acting mettle, Parineeti totally struck a chord with the audiences. However, little do we know that she had to go through a lot of ups and downs to make a mark in the cine industry.

The actress had a no-filter conversation with Film Companion where she opened up on her battle with depression at the age of 25. She also gets candid that it was the darkest phase of her life.

The Kesari star spilled the beans that it started from the early of the year 2014 to the end of 2015. The climax was when she got two flops in a row.

She said, “I had made a lot of money by then, but I had bought a house and I had made some big investments. Then I went through a big heartbreak in my life. Literally, all the departments in my life were down. Nothing positive to look forward to.”

Everything got worse because Parineeti isolated herself during that time. She even reportedly stopped eating, couldn’t sleep well and restricted herself from meeting other people. The actress went on to reveal that she made a cutoff from humans even her near and dear ones.
