The designer Sabyasachi revealed that they “took 110 embroiderers and 3,720 hours to make the hand-cut organza flowers, French knots, and layers of thread work".

The daughter of India’s richest man Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's wedding was one of the biggest weddings of the year without a doubt. The beautiful bride wore a 16-panelled ghagra made with two shades of off-white which featured an intricate trail. Each panel was hand-embroidered with Mughal jaalis and floral panels alternated with the finest zardozi, vasli, mukaish and nakshi work. Every flower jaali was highlighted with crystals and sequins. The zardozi borders also included red hues, the iconic bridal colour, lending auspiciousness to the ensemble.
