Tabu Talks About Reteaming With Saif Ali Khan After Two Decades

Seasoned actress Tabu last worked with Saif Ali Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s ensemble family drama “Hum Saath Saath Hain”. However, both the actors were not romantically paired opposite each other.

Tabu is perhaps enjoying one of the best phases of her storied career. She is getting some well fleshed out characters to play in movies and the audience is accepting those films with open arms.

In 2018, Tabu delivered one of her career’s best performances in filmmaker Sriram Raghavan’s crime thriller Andhadhun. She was then seen in filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s production De De Pyaar De (2019) opposite Ajay Devgn. The audience loved her performance in the rom-com which turned out to be a huge success at the box-office.

Now, Tabu has teamed up with Saif Ali Khan for the upcoming film Jawaani Jaaneman which marks their reunion after a massive gap of 20 years.

Both the actors were last seen together in renowned filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s family drama Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1999. Tabu has just returned from London where she shot a cameo for the coming-of-age film.

Besides Saif Ali Khan, Jawaani Jaaneman also features debutante Alaia Furniturewalla, the daughter of former actress and model Pooja Bedi.

Talking to a popular tabloid, Tabu says that she has a special connect with London as it holds memories of two other films, Cheeni Kum (2007) with Amitabh Bachchan, and De De Pyaar De with Ajay Devgn.
