On 24 February 2018, the B-town witnessed the demise of its iconic actress Sridevi. Her sudden death, needless to say, shocked the whole industry and unfortunately, the legendary star couldn’t see the grand debut of her daughter Janhvi Kapoor into Bollywood.

Janhvi Kapoor recently took to her Instagram handle to share a black and white throwback picture of herself with her mother along with a caption reading, “Miss you every day" on the occasion of Sridevi’s second death anniversary.

Last year, on the eve of her first deathday, Janhvi took to her Instagram handle to share a picture along with an emotional note remembering her late mother. The young actress confessed that her heart will always by heavy though she will smile as she knows it has her mother in it.

Last year, in an interview with Filmfare, the 23-year-old actress had a no-filter conversation where she got candid about her thoughts after the death of her proud mother. Janhvi shared that she almost had no memory of 3 or 4 months and during that phase, her half-brother Arjun Kapoor and half-sister Anshula Kapoor had supported the family strongly.

Boney’s eldest son Arjun stepped up as a pillar to support the family. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor said that it was his job to be a good son of his dad.

The screen icon Sridevi passed away in the year 2018 while attending a wedding in Dubai. Her death sent the entire film industry into shock and left her producer husband Boney Kapoor and daughters in mourning.

Janhvi made her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s film Dhadak where she shared the screen space with Ishaan Khatter. The film got a positive response from both the critics and the audiences and soon turned out to be a box office hit.
