Bollywood star Sonali Bendre was back in Mumbai with her husband Goldie Behl from NY, where she received medical treatment for her “high-grade” cancer for about six months. Recently, Sonali Bendre took to the Instagram to share a photo of her and her older sister Rupa Tai with a heartwarming note. Through the post, she sent her thank to her beloved sister, who was always with her and gave her support in her fight against cancer.
The actress started the note with an emotional quote by a renowned Australian poet Pam Brown. The heart-touching post shows that Sonali shares a strong bond with her older sister Rupa. She wrote that Rupa was with her all the times, from the day she was diagnosed with cancer to the day she decided to receive the medical treatment and Rupa packed her bag to go with her. She added that she was forever indebted to her.
Earlier, Sonali Bendre and husband Goldie Behl were spotted at Mumbai airport from New York City on Monday. Sonali was in a bald look and always kept bright smiles on her face when greeting the paparazzi. According to her husband, after 6 months of cancer treatment, Sonali is getting better and recovering well. He also said thanks to all fans and wishers, who have always pray and support her.
Before leaving New York, Sonali also shared a long post about her feeling. She wrote how distance made her love her loved ones more than ever. She said that she had witnessed a lot of stories and how she learned that one must never give up. Also, she expressed her joy when she can see her friends and family again. Sonali added that her fight was not over but she was still happy and looked forward to the happy interval.
On her arrival, many her close friends including Gayatri Joshi and Sussanne Khan visited her home.
