Earlier, Sidharth is gearing up for his upcoming films Shershaah, featuring Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles, the movie based on the true story of Captain Vikram Batra, a hero in Kargil war. The actor cannot hide his excitement of taking part in the project as he will be seen in the role of the real-life hero Vikram Batra.

To prepare for the project, the actor has to get acquainted with army weapons. Indeed, the whole cast including Sidharth Malhotra took a training course on how to use the military weapons and army drills to get the correct army etiquettes and body language.

The film shooting is said to kick start at the beginning of May in Batra’s hometown in Chandigarh and Palampur. Meanwhile, other parts will be filmed in North India including Chandigarh, Ladakh, and Kashmir.
