Shraddha Kapoor is set to make her South debut with the forthcoming film “Saaho” which is set to release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The actress has reportedly been paid a huge amount as her remuneration.

Shraddha Kapoor is currently one of the busiest actresses in the industry. She has shot for three films simultaneously in the past few months, and one of them is high-profile Saaho. Directed by young filmmaker Sujeeth, Saaho is a multilingual film set to hit the marquee in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Besides Shraddha Kapoor, the big-ticket venture also features Baahubali Prabhas as the male lead.

Shraddha Kapoor has worked really hard on the movie. It required her to do some high-octane action sequences which she pulled off really well. The latest we hear that the gorgeous actress has been paid a whopping amount for her outstanding work in the action entertainer. According to reports, Shraddha Kapoor has taken home a hefty paycheque of ₹ 7 crore for her role in the much-awaited film.

However, a source in the know tells an Indian daily that the rumours are untrue.

Some media reports also suggest that Katrina Kaif, who was approached before Shraddha Kapoor to star in the film, had demanded ₹ 5 crore, which is why she was not cast in the film. If the makers could not pay Kat ₹ 5 crore, then how can they fork out ₹ 7 crore for Shraddha Kapoor?
