[HOT] Showik Chakraborty & Samuel Miranda Officially ARRESTED, Rhea’s Brother Is Even A Part Of A Drug Trafficking Group

In the early morning of 4 September, a team from NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) raided the houses of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda at around 6:30 am. They were arrested on the same day after being questioned about the drug abuse surrounding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on 14 June.

Chakraborty and Miranda have been charged under several sections of anti-narcotics law and they will be produced in a court today.

The formal process of arresting them is currently underway. They are reported to be involved in a drug cartel. The report has it that Showik teamed up with 5 others who were involved in trading Marijuana. He also admitted to consuming drugs.

For those who are unversed, Showik Chakraborty used to buy ganja and marijuana from a drug peddler named Abdel Basit Parihar. The payments were made through a Google Pay account, said by the NCB. Meanwhile, Miranda has been detained under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Parihar has also been sent to NCB custody until 9 September.

In fact, Abdel has linked to the investigation since the interrogation on Zaid Vilatra was done. Both of them were also said to be parts of the drug peddling case.

Talking about Rhea Chakraborty, in our previous article, we have said that she is likely to be arrested soon after the raid on her residence which is also Showik Chakraborty’s home was done. Speculations are fulfilled that she might be arrested under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code for abetting Sushant to suicide.

Sources told CNN-News18 and they once again cemented that theory.

"NCB will interrogate Rhea Chakraborty with the help of a woman official. Seeing the situation, we will take all the necessary steps. Rhea's questioning is a must in the case.”
