A shocking video has come up on social media that shows Sonakshi Sinha being arrested while she pleads to be innocent.

Some videos showing Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha being arrested are creating ripples on social media.

While it is shocking to see the diva being arrested, it is not yet clear if it is something serious or just a publicity stunt. Fans were concerned about Sonakshi’s well-being online, with several of them posting messages on Twitter wondering how the actor could have been arrested. The hashtags #SonakshiSinhaArrested and #AsliSonaArrested took over the Twitter timeline.

Earlier, Sonakshi had been accused of not turning up for an event in Delhi at the last moment after accepting a booking amount of Rs 24 lakh. An FIR under sections of cheating is registered in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi is awaiting the release of Khandaani Shafakhana. The film is a funny take on the taboo subject - sex. Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, the film also stars Varun Sharma and Badshah. She has also geared up the shoot of Abhishek Dudhaiya's Bhuj: The Pride of India in Hyderabad. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk.
