Shamasuddin Siddiqui, who made a debut as the Bollywood director, has filed the defamation suit of up to Rs 100 crore against one publication and accused them of defaming his name with no substantial backing. Particularly, the publication has been laid a charge for claiming the director’s offensive behavior towards female actors. What’s more, such defamatory portrayal is claimed to be contrary to the truth. As regards this controversial issue, Shamas also posted a tweet about it. And, Nawazuddin Siddiqui hasn’t left any comments.

Earlier, Nawaz had talked about sharing the same screen with Mouni Roy during the movie:

Shamas is currently directing Bole Chudiyaan, his directorial debut which stars Mouni Roy and his brother Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Nawazuddin was last seen in romantic film Photograph directed by Ritesh Batra; whereas, Mouni made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s Gold, which was under the production of Kiran Bhatia and Rajesh Sidhwani. On the other hand, Bole Chudiyaan, with the start-to-finish schedule, will be filmed between May and June and expected to be launched in October.
