Film Arjun Reddy was a truly runaway sleeper hit generating much discussion among the audience from all walks of life. Director Sandeep is now all set to remake the drama starring Shahid Kapoor. The fact is that the original version was based in Hyderabad and Bangalore but the director wanted to shift the film to Delhi and Mumbai. In keeping with a new environment and in the need of pan-India appeal, the film has been renamed Kabir Singh.

The actor tweeted that Arjun Reddy had received a lot of love and appreciation from the audience and further affirmed that it was the turn of Kabir Singh. The Bollywood star kicked-started his shooting schedule for Kabir Singh on October 21 right after the paternity break.
