Shah Rukh Khan Acquires Rights To Adapt Spanish Series “Money Heist” Into A Film

Shah Rukh Khan has not taken up any project after the failure of his last movie “Zero”. However, he is keeping quite busy as a producer, churning out one interesting project after another.

Shah Rukh Khan is not going through the best phase of his career right now.

Some of his last films have not performed as per expectations. He had a lot of hopes from his ambitious film Zero (2019), but the Aanand L Rai directorial too failed to live up to the expectations, incurring heavy losses to the superstar.

After the failure of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan has not signed any new film. In one of his media interactions lately, he even went on to say that he did not feel like signing any film right now.

Well, while we wait for the announcement of his next film as an actor, Shah Rukh Khan is keeping quite busy as a producer. After the huge success of his production venture Badla (2019) with Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, Khan is busy producing three web-shows for Netflix.

And now the news is coming in that his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, has bagged the rights to adapt the popular Spanish show Money Heist. The show, which has found an audience globally, is currently in its third season.

The source goes on to add that a team of writers is currently working on developing the script of the film. The source further adds that the cast will be decided based on the script.
