If actress Ameesha Patel fails to present herself before Ranchi Court, she might face arrest in the fraud case filed by filmmaker Ajay Singh.

It looks like actress Ameesha Patel is in deep trouble after a court in Ranchi issued her summons in a fraud case. The complainant producer Ajay Singh approached Ranchi court seeking justice. He has claimed that the actress failed to give back Rs 3 crore which was invested for the film Desi Magic.

Ajay Singh is all set to release his another film Family of Thakurganj that features Jimmy Shergill and Mahi Gill.

According to reports, the case has been built up against Ameesha Patel and her business partner Kuunal Goomer. The complainant filmmaker claimed that he received three cheques worth Rs 3 crore which bounced leading to the complaint.

When Singh approached Goomer seeking his money back, Goomer instead showed him the pictures of actress Ameesha Patel with some influential people and celebrities. The filmmaker was promised that he will get the money back including interest and release profit for the film Desi Magic.

Actress Ameesha Patel and her business partner are bound to attend the hearing at Ranchi court failing which may lead to her arrest. The court has directed Ranchi police to issue summons against Patel directing her to be present in the court on July 8, 2019. If the actress fails to abide by the orders of the court, the police have the right to arrest her and present her in front of the magistrate for further hearing.
