Sara Ali Khan, the daughter of the famous couple Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, has walked her first steps into the acting career. Receiving good impressions and praising reviews for two projected named Kedarnath and Simmba, her name has been noticed as a potential actress in Bollywood. However, despite many advantages for developing in the entertainment industry, Sara still aims at becoming a future politician one day, sharing that wish in a recent interview with HT Cafe.
The actress revealed that acting would be her priority indeed, however, in the meantime, she also wanted to study further about politics in order to become a real politician in the future. This may owe its reason to the degree in political science and history that she's already achieved at Columbia University. "It’s not a backup plan", Sara added, "I am not leaving and if people will give me the opportunity to be here, I will be here for as long I can."
Although born as the daughter of the well-known Bollywood couple, both Sara Ali Khan and her parents soon acknowledge the great importance of education. As a result, the actress didn't participate in any acting until last year when she already finished her university studying program. In fact, education was all of her and the whole family's focus before. The significant effort she put into learning can be seen clearly through her impressive result at schools.
Becoming famous in such a short period of time, even Sara found it surprising and moving. Kedarnath marked her debut with an essential leading role, immediately proving her enormous potential in the career of acting. Continuing that success with Simmba, co-starring Ranveer Singh, she and the whole team experience deep happiness when the film broke box office records. Nevertheless, even now she still shows strong determination with studying, also sharing that it's an indispensable part of her life.
On the work front, the actress is working on Imtiaz Ali's next project, which is announced as a sequel to her Dad Saif Ali Khan's typical movie, Love Aaj Kal. She also decides to join the cast of the official remake of Coolie No.1, featuring Varun Dhawan as lead actors.
