Sanjay Dutt & Arshad Warsi All Set To Reteam In 2020

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi are undoubtedly one of the most loved onscreen friends of Indian cinema. The duo won millions of hearts, all across the globe, with their infectious comradery in celebrated filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai MBBS (2003) and replicated the same in the second instalment of the film, titled Lage Raho Munna Bhai which released in the year 2006.

Ever since the release of Lage Raho Munna Bhai, cinephiles have been waiting to see Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in a film together. While the third instalment of the Munna Bhai franchise may take some time in materializing, news has it that Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be joining hands in 2020 for a new film.

In an interview with a leading publication, Arshad Warsi spilled the beans on the forthcoming project which starts rolling in 2020. “Sanju and I will start working on a film next year. It is a crazy script, a project by Sajid Farhad. The film is likely to go on floor by March-April next year. We will probably head to Budapest for the first schedule of the film.”

The actor went on to talk in detail about his and Dutt’s character in the upcoming film, “Sanju plays the role of a blind don. I am his eyes. The challenge is that nobody can know that he is blind, and I cannot tell anyone that he is blind. I am actually directing him throughout the film. It’s quite a fun script.”

Currently, Arshad Warsi is busy promoting his next film Pagalpanti which also stars John Abraham, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Ileana D’Cruz, Urvashi Rautela and Anil Kapoor in important roles. The comic caper is scheduled to hit the silver screen on 22^nd November, 2019. It is directed by well-known filmmaker Anees Bazmee.
