Salman Khan To Replace Ranveer Singh In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Next Project?

After the three blockbusters Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela created big bangs at the box office, the veteran director Mr. Bhansali is reported to cooperate with Salman Khan instead of Ranveer Singh in his upcoming project.

According to an anonymous source, “The one star who is most affected by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s decision to work again with Salman Khan is Ranveer Singh. After doing three back-to-back blockbusters together, Ranveer was all set to work for the fourth time with Bhansali.”

Reportedly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh are discussing cooperation again, but any details related to their future collaboration remains a secret.

“They had discussed a project. We aren’t sure if it’s the same one that Salman Khan is doing. But Mr. Bhansali and Ranveer Singh had talked about a fourth film together," the source stated.

Nonetheless, an anonymous source close to the director stated that Bhansali would cooperate with Salman instead of Ranveer in his nearest project. "They’ve no doubt discussed another project together, but it isn’t the one that Bhansali is making with Salman in the lead. The one with Salman always meant for Salman alone, or no one at all," claims the source.

Moreover, this source points out that Bhansali's decision may relate to the free-flowing praise of Ranveer for some directors.

“Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat turned Ranveer from a star to a superstar. But Ranveer was heard praising Rohit Shetty and Zoya Akhtar with equal enthusiasm. Deepika, on the other hand, has remained steadfast in her true appreciation of what Bhansali has done for her career," the source added.

Despite losing the cooperating opportunity with Bhansali, Ranveer Singh still has many awaited opportunities, especially when Zoya Akhtar has just confirmed the sequel to Gully Boy.

“My co-writer Reema Kagti and I do feel there’s so much more to say on the entire hip-hop culture in our country. And another film exploring the theme is being scripted and planned," the director said on his upcoming sequel.
