Salman Khan To Shoot “Kick 2” Post “Dabangg 3”, “Inshallah” To Roll In April 2020

Salman Khan has his plate full with several high-profile projects. His next “Bharat” enters theatres tomorrow. His will then wrap up “Dabangg 3”, followed by “Kick 2” and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Inshallah”, co-starring Alia Bhatt.

Salman Khan is the busiest superstar in B-town these days. He has so many films on his platter at the moment that his date diary is packed for the next few years. The superstar is presently busy promoting his immediate release Bharat, which rolls into cinemas tomorrow on the auspicious occasion of Eid.

After the release of Bharat, which is an official remake of South Korean film Ode to My Father (2017), Salman Khan will move on to wrap up Dabangg 3, the third installment of the Dabangg (2010) franchise. The film is being produced by his brother Arbaaz Khan, while Prabhudeva is calling the shots for the same.

The latest we hear that right after wrapping up Dabangg 3, Salman Khan will commence the shoot for Kick 2, which is a sequel to his 2014 blockbuster film, Kick. As far as his much-awaited movie Inshallah with maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is concerned, it will begin production in April 2020. Inshallah reunites Salman Khan with Bhansali after two decades. They last worked together on Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999).

Apart from his Bollywood projects, the superstar is also gearing up to host the upcoming season of his controversial reality show, Bigg Boss. The show is expected to premiere in the month of September and continue till January 2020.

Talking about Kick 2, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is expected to return to the chair of the director once again. We hear that pre-production is expected to begin towards the end of the year so that the movie gets ready to release around the Christmas festivities of 2020. Jacqueline Fernandez will romance Salman Khan once again in Kick 2.

In addition to all the projects mentioned above, Salman Khan will reunite with his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri for another Korean remake called Veteran. The remake is also expected to begin somewhere in 2020.
