Talking about what led Salman Khan to come onboard as a producer of Kaagaz, delighted Satish Kaushik tells an Indian tabloid,
Kaagaz is set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh. The movie takes its inspiration from the real-life story of Lal Bihari. Bihari is a UP-based farmer who was declared dead on paper after some of his relatives colluded with a corrupt official to snatch his land.
