Saif Ali Khan Pays Tribute To Pulwama Martyred Soldiers: Deeply Upset And Saddened By What Has Happened

Saif Ali Khan paid his tribute to the Pulwama attack martyred soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti. The actor said that he was deeply upset and saddened by what happened.

The Scared Game star Saif Ali Khan, who is residing in New Delhi, visited Amar Jyoti Jawan along with his wife Kareena Kapoor and his son Taimur, to pay his tribute to the soldier martyrs of the Pulwama attack. His photos have now gone viral in social media. In the picture, the actor can be seen wearing a basic white kurta-pyjama while bowing down in front of the Amar Jawan Jyoti.
Saif Ali Khan also released a statement in which he condemned the attack and offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the gruesome attack. He said, “On behalf of my family, my thoughts and prayers are with the families of the jawans who have lost their lives serving our country. Deeply upset and saddened by what has happened."
The terror attack, which took place on Thursday, 14th February in Pulwama, has left the whole nation in deep shock and grief. A member of the Jaish-E-Mohammad drove a car full of explosives into a convoy carrying CRPF jawans on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway claiming the lives of nearly forty CRPF jawans and injuring some others. This attack is called one of the worst terror strikes in Jammu and Kashmir since 1989.
A lot of Bollywood superstars also shared their anger and grief about the inhuman act such as Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana and many others. In response to the cowardly attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has given a free hand to the Army to respond in the wake of the attack.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ actor was last seen in Baazaar, which is helmed by Gauravv K Chawla. The film also stars Rohan Mehra, Chitrangda Singh and Radhika Apte in significant roles. Saif has recently signed ‘Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior’ co-starring Ajay Devgn. He will also be seen in Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games 2’.
