SS Rajamouli made an official announcement about his brand-new and most ambitious project today and that is ‘RRR’. During the press meet of the movie, the filmmaker revealed that Bollywood star Alia Bhatt will be playing a role in this film and indeed her role is a crucial one. He also shared that the actress will star alongside Ram Charan and her role is relatively important as she will be the one who takes the story forward.

The director went on to say,

RRR is now touted as SS Rajamouli’s second-biggest film and will feature Ji NTR and Ram Charan in the title roles. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani and Edgar Jones will be playing vital roles in the film as well. The film will be released in many different languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and will be set in the backdrop of the 1920s. It is about a fictional story in the pre-independent era and based on the lives of two real heroes Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju.
