Remo D’souza Praises His “Street Dancer 3D” Actor Varun Dhawan

Remo D’souza has directed Varun Dhawan in his upcoming directorial venture “Street Dancer 3D”. The two have previously worked together on superhit dance-flick “ABCD 2”.

Remo D’souza, who last helmed Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Race 3 (2018), is presently busy with the post-production of his upcoming directorial offering Street Dancer 3D. The filmmaker is happy to have collaborated with Varun Dhawan on his next. The duo has previously worked together on ABCD 2 which performed really well at the box-office upon its release in 2015. Besides Varun Dhawan, actress Shraddha Kapoor will also be seen playing an important role in the much-awaited dance film.

Talking to a newswire, Remo D’souza said that Street Dancer 3D is an inspirational story and a family entertainer. "The story of Street Dancer is close to my heart. The way Varun, Shraddha, and I are bringing the story alive on the screen, the audience will become a fan of the film. It is an inspirational story and a family entertainer.”

Adding further, the choreographer-turned-filmmaker said that he is impressed with actor Varun Dhawan’s maturity as a dance performer. "Dance and acting both are performing arts. The more you do it, the more you mature. That is what happened to Varun and Shraddha. I am impressed by Varun's maturity as a dance performer. Of course, we have collaborated before, and we know how good he is as a dancer. But in our upcoming film, he has really taken it to the next level,” added Remo D’souza.

Street Dancer 3D, which also features Nora Fatehi and Prabhudheva in pivotal parts, is scheduled to release on January 24. The film marks Remo's reunion with Varun and Shraddha after the 2015 hit ABCD 2.

Meanwhile, Remo D’souza is occupied as a judge on the dance reality TV show Dance Plus on Star Plus, starting from Saturday. The trailer of his film Street Dancer 3D is expected to be dropped in December as the movie is scheduled for a January release.
