Rangoli Chandel Slams Karan Johar After He Heaps Praises On Her Sister Kangana Ranaut’s Talent

Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut are two of the biggest names in the film industry. They were also announced as two of the awardees of the Padma Shri recently. However, it would not come as a surprise with the fact that filmmaker has been on the radar of Kangana’s sister and spokesperson Rangoli Chandel several times. This recent controversy between them is hands down the concrete proof.

During an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Karan heaped praises on Kangana, said he wants to collaborate with her as he really respects her ability, talent, and performances in her films. Elaborating further over the same, the filmmaker revealed that if he has any film which is suitable to Kangana, he would not think twice as he would call her up immediately. Kjo also stated that as a filmmaker, he always recognizes good work and never lets the personal bias interfere with his work.

However, it seems like Karan’s statement did not go down well with Rangoli Chandel. Despite many praises, Kangana’s sister mistook this sweet gesture and even slammed the filmmaker on her Twitter handle.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut’s latest release Panga is now its theatrical run. The film is now clashing with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Street Dancer 3D at the box office. Kangana’s film had a slow beginning on Friday with a collection of around 2.5 crores. Meanwhile, the dancing drama of Varun and Shraddha had a flying start with an impressive opening with roughly Rs 11 crore. For those who are unversed, Panga is estimated to be made on a budget of  Rs 25 crore. The film features Neena Gupta, Richa Chadha and Jassie Gill alongside Kangana Ranaut. The film talks about the comeback journey of a woman who outdoes herself to back to her professional life as a kabaddi player post marriage and motherhood.
