Randhir Kapoor Says The Family Misses Rishi Kapoor Every Day

Actor Randhir Kapoor is the elder brother of late Rishi Kapoor who passed away on April 30, 2020, after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Randhir Kapoor, well-known actor and the elder brother of Rishi Kapoor, says that the entire family misses the late actor every day. Rishi Kapoor, one of the most popular actors of Hindi cinema, breathed his last on April 30, 2020, after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was 67.

The sudden demise of Rishi Kapoor left his fans, well-wishers, and loved ones in complete shock and grief. His family is still trying to recuperate from the great loss. Randhir Kapoor says that the family is trying its best to cope up with the loss.

Talking to a publication, Randhir Kapoor said that God has been kind to them and the family is holding up well. They are taking one day at a time but they all miss him every day. He said that they shared a common bond over friends, family, food and films.

Randhir Kapoor also took the opportunity to thank millions of fans who stood up by the family in their hour of grief. The actor informed that people across the world showered their love on Rishi Kapoor. They have been flooded with condolence messages and some have even shared their memories or their personal experiences with his brother. It is impossible to reply to all of them but he said that he would like to thank everyone and just want to tell his fans to remember him for his movies, for his smile and undying spirit.

Rishi Kapoor is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor and two children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor. Ranbir is also a Hindi film actor with several notable movies to his credit. He will next be seen in Dharma Productions’ Brahmastra.

Meanwhile, news has it that the makers of Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen have confirmed that they will finish and release the film soon. Reportedly, Rishi had shot maximum portions of the movie before leaving for the USA for his treatment in 2018. Sharmaji Namkeen reunited the late actor with former co-star Juhi Chawla.
