Hrithik Roshan burst onto the scene with the earth-shattering success of his debut film “Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai”. He has delivered several box-office hits ever since.

Hrithik Roshan is one of the most successful superstars working in Hindi films today. He enjoys a massive fan following not on his home turf but also in several other parts of the world. Hrithik Roshan may be one of the biggest stars that Bollywood has produced over the years, but according to his filmmaker father, Rakesh Roshan, he struggled with overnight fame and stardom after the release of his debut film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai way back in 2000.

Rakesh Roshan, who has directed Hrithik Roshan in such blockbuster films as Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006) and Krish 3 (2013), shared the story in an interview with a popular online portal.

The filmmaker adds that he then explained to him that suppose this situation had never arisen, then what would have happened? He asked him to take this as a blessing, adjust to his newly achieved stardom and work and don not take it as a burden. And Hrithik Roshan clearly did that and went on to establish himself as one of the biggest superstars of Bollywood.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan are gearing up to team up once again for the fourth instalment of the super successful Krrish franchise. The project is expected to start rolling in 2020.
