Radhika Apte, Ex-Wife Come Out In Support Of Anurag Kashyap post Payal Gosh’s Allegation

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has recently found himself at the center of controversies amid the #MeToo allegations against him. A few days back, Kashyap made headlines after his sarcastic conversation with Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Twitter. However, it’s yet to come to an end as he continues to create a buzz again but for a different reason. Payal Ghosh has gone on to accuse him of sexual misconduct. Needless to say, her allegation has stirred up a storm on social media and the opinions remain divided into two groups, supporters and the rest.

After Taapsee Pannu, Surveen Chawla, now actress Radhika Apte has also come out in support of Anurag Kashyap. Calling him one of her close friends, the actress affirmed that she always feel secure when beside him. Taking to Instagram, Apte shared a photo of herself with her filmmaker friend along with a candid caption.

“@anuragkashyap10 you have been one of my closest friends, you have inspired me and always supported me. You have always treated me as an equal and I cherish the mutual love and respect we have for each other. I have always felt immensely secure in your presence since the day I’ve known you. You have been and always will be my trusted friend. Love ya💙”

Other than his B-town friends, even his ex-wife also publicly showed her solidarity towards him. Calling the filmmaker rockstar, Aarti Bajaj said that the accusation is the “Cheapest Stunt.”
