Having portrayed in several movies with the same role of a girl-next-door prototype but then turns out to be different, Nushrat Bharucha shared she is fond of doing the unexpected. The movies in which she played such image were Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama.

Nushrat Bharucha made her debut to the B-town by playing in the film Love Sex Aur Dhokha in 2010. Her portrayal as Sweety of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Chiku in the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama earned her reputation. She stated that a role could cause her ennui if that was a predictable one.
On the work front, she is preparing for the next project, Hurdang. The movie is being canvassed as a 1990s love story, It was the tỉm when youngsters raised their voices for their own rights and took a great deal of time for self-realization.
