Pulkit Samrat Joins Jim Sarbh, Amit Sadh & Harshvardhan Rane On The Cast Of “Taish”

Pulkit Samrat, who was last seen in Excel Entertainment’s anthology film 3 Storeys (2018), has been signed on to play an important role in filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar’s next directorial Taish. The film is a revenge drama. Besides Pulkit Samrat, Taish also stars Jim Sarbh, Amit Sadh and Harshvardhan Rane in central characters.

According to a source, the role which Pulkit Samrat plays in the film is very intense and has many layers. The makers are looking at beginning the shoot in the first week of August. The movie will be shot in London. Though the makers have not locked any release date as yet, Taish will hit the marquee sometime next year.

The source adds that Pulkit Samrat is busy with workshops to get into the skin of his character in the film. He is also trying out different looks for his character.

As far as the female lead in concerned, the makers are still looking for a suitable face to cast.

For the uninitiated, Bejoy Nambiar has previously helmed such films as Shaitan (2011), David (2013) and Wazir (2016). His last directorial Wazir, a crime thriller, had megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles.

Pulkit Samrat, on the other hand, is currently looking forward to the release of his next film Pagalpanti. Also starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Urvashi Rautela, the comic-caper is set to release on 8^th November, 2019. It is directed by well-known filmmaker Anees Bazmee.
