Paresh Rawal Joins The Cast Of David Dhawan’s Comic-Caper “Coolie No. 1”

According to reports, seasoned actor Paresh Rawal has come onboard to play the same role which was originally played by late veteran actor Kader Khan in the original 1995 film, “Coolie No. 1”.

Paresh Rawal, one of the finest character actors that Indian cinema has ever produced, is all set to tickle the funny bones of the audience once again. News has it that the talented actor has been roped in to join the cast of David Dhawan’s much-awaited comic-caper, Coolie No. 1, which stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.

As the title suggests itself, Coolie No. 1 is an official remake of David Dhawan’s own 1995 film Coolie No. 1, featuring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor as the lead pair. The movie, ably supported by outstanding performances from character actors such as Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, has gained cult status over the years.

Reportedly, the makers have signed on Paresh Rawal to play the same role which was originally essayed by late veteran Bollywood actor, Kader Khan.

According to reports, the first shooting schedule of Coolie No. 1 begins in Bangkok on August 5 and Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will be joined by Paresh Rawal in the Thai capital. It will be a 20-day shoot in Bangkok, as per sources.

Coolie No. 1 is slated to roll into theatres on May 1, 2020. It is being jointly produced by Vashu Bhagnani and David Dhawan.
