Born and raised in Canada but Nora Fatehi opted to develop her career in the Indian film industry. The Canadian dancer, singer, actress, and model has appeared in several Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu language films. Nora was born on 6 February 1992 to Moroccan parents in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her mother is a third-generation Indian. The beauty completed her schooling from Westview Centennial Secondary School in Toronto, then pursued higher education at York University in the same city. However, she decided to drop out even before completing the degree to pursue her passion.
Since childhood, she has soon developed her interest as well as talent in music and dancing, and becoming an actress is by far her biggest dream. That was why she started learning belly dance herself by watching dancing tutorial videos on the Internet. Nora literally hasn’t had any formal training in either dancing or acting.
The turning point in Nora's life
After finishing her college life, she started her professional modeling career with a contract with a talent agency called “Orange Model Management”. She was later sent to India for an assignment. During the first years in India, she appeared in several advertisements for different brands like Everyuth Face Wash” and “Mexitos Chips”.
Nora Fatehi life story turns another chapter when she made her film debut with the Bollywood film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. However, she truly shot to fame in Telugu cinema by doing item numbers in movies like Baahubali: The Beginning, Temper, and Kick 2.
The dancer appeared the recreated version of the song Dilbar from the Bollywood film Satyamev Jayate. The song got 20 million views on Youtube within the first 24 hours after release, making it become the first Hindi song to garner this number. It crossed 335 million views for the full song version and even 878 million views for the lyrical one until now.
