Malavika Mohanan Signs Her Next Bollywood Film?

Malavika Mohanan is a well-known name in South Indian cinema. She began her acting career with a Malayalam film called Pattam Pole (2013). After doing two films in Malayalam and one in Kannada, she made her debut in Bollywood with Beyond The Clouds (2018). Directed by celebrated Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi, the movie also marked the silver screen debut of superstar Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter.

Malavika Mohanan then marked her debut in Tamil cinema with the film Petta (2019). The talented actress essayed the role of Sasikumar's wife in the movie. Malavika Mohanan next signed a film called Master. The film also stars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, and its shooting was wrapped up a couple of weeks ago.

Now, the news is coming in that Malavika Mohanan may star in an upcoming Bollywood film. The actress has been reportedly signed on to play the lead role in a Hindi film, which is to be produced by Farhan Akhtar, who is known for bankrolling several box-office hits like Gully Boy (2019), Fukrey Returns (2016) and Fukrey (2013).

If all goes well, the shooting of the film will kick-start in April. As far as the male lead of the forthcoming film is concerned, the makers are expected announce the name of the actor soon. Well, it will be really interesting to know who Malavika Mohanan gets to romance in her second Bollywood outing. We also have no clue about who will direct the yet to be titled project.

After being signed on for Master, Malavika Mohanan has attracted several filmmakers’ attention. The actress has been offered a number of exciting projects in the past few months. She has reportedly also signed her next Tamil film opposite Karthi. The untitled film will be directed by PS Mithran. More details are expected to arrive soon.
