Katrina Kaif Recalls Sad Memory Due To Lack Of Fatherly Love Since Childhood

Katrina Kaif, who grew up without the presence of her father in her life, says she wants her children to have a love of both parents.

Katrina Kaif is currently busy doing back-to-back promotions for her upcoming movie Bharat alongside co-star Salman Khan. The actress has been the talk of the B-Town nowadays, either for her promotional activities or her thoughts on Priyanka Chopra’s exit from BharatBesides, her personal life has also never ceased to make headlines.

Recently, Katrina went down memory lane and recalled how difficult to grow up without the presence of her father in her life.

When her parents went their separate ways, Katrina Kaif was at a very young age. Since then, her mother Suzanne Turquotte has been raising Katrina and her seven siblings alone.

the actress admitted. Katrina revealed that she missed having a strong male influence in her life, and if she has kids, she wants her children to have a love of both parents.

The actress further shared that at times when she was going through something difficult, it would be better if she could have strong fatherly support from a male figure. She said:

Katrina Kaif rarely opens up about her family matters. On asking if she looked up to influential male figures in her relationships because of her own family, the actress rejected the idea. It seems like the Bharat star chooses to build trust among her beloved friends instead. “My trustworthy, inner circle of friends know me well. They understand where you're coming from, your fears and your insecurities,” she explained. However, the actress admitted that the separation of her parents still had a part to play in her life.

On the profession front, Katrina Kaif last appeared in two big box office duds, Thug of Hindostan and Zero. Her next project is Ali Abbas Zafar’s movie Bharat, which also features Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.

Bharat is set to be released this Eid on June 5.
