Kasautii Zindagii Kay Actress Erica Fernandes After The Breakup With Shaheer Sheikh: We Didn't Keep In Touch Anymore

After years of being in the TV industry, Erica Fernandes has carved her niche as one of the most prominent actresses. At the moment, the actress is sharing the frame with Parth Samthaan and Karan Singh Grover in the national favorite drama Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Based on public response, the majority of audiences have been so well-receiving Erica Fernandes’s role in KZK. It can be seent hat the actress has gone the extra mile since her first day in the industry with her Telly debut in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi in 2016. 

She didn't meet Shaheer Sheikh after the break-up

During the lockdown due to coronavirus, Erica has time to do an interview talking about her quarantine routine, answering fans’ questions and opening up more on her acting career. In response to a fan’s question about the current relationship with her ex co-star Shaheer Sheikh, she said that the duo didn’t have the chance to meet up on a regular basis anymore.

After Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi,  both of them were up to the ears with their own work, so it became extremely difficult for them to keep in touch regularly. However, Erica shared that they did run into each other at several parties and events. So, despite not having as much interaction as the old time, the two stars are still on good terms. 

Her bond with Supriya Pilgaonkar

Erica also mentioned her bond with onscreen mother-in-law Supriya Pilgaonkar. She said that annually, she would remind Chestha (Bhagat) and Shaheer about Supriya’s birthday. According to Erica, as usual, they would wait for her call one day beforehand. And on Supriya’s birthday, they would gather around at her house and celebrate the special day together. She referred to this as their “annual social event”. So, obviously, their bond is still as strong as ever.       

When being asked about the rumor saying that she would take a role in the third season of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, she didn’t confirm, nor deny, the claim. Most people believe that the show would start-off soon. However, Erica said she only heard about this unofficially and no one had contacted asking for her to join the show, so she was ambiguous about the news in general. She added that since she was still on set with KZK so nothing can be confirmed at that moment.
