Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions’ Godown Catches Fire, Causes Huge Destruction

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions’s godown caught fire early morning on May 1 and led to massive destruction of property.

A serious fire eruption at Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions’ godown in Mumbai on Tuesday, April 30. According to some reports, the blaze started at around 2.30 am on April 30. The first floor of the three-story building caught fire first and then it spread to all three floors.
Around 8 fire engines were sent to the location to bring the fire under control along with six water tankers. Reportedly, one of the firemen got injured. It took them three long hours to control the flame.
The reason behind the incident was suggested by electric wiring and electric installation. A police inspector revealed that they are looking for the fire's source,
Dharma Productions was reportedly used to store all the important equipment used for shooting like the costumes, books and various other artifacts. These belongings were also supposed to be used for the upcoming movies like Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Karan Johar’s period drama Takht. This fire may make things difficult for the makers of the fantasy film when Brahmastra has been delayed by a few months.
Though the filmmaker Karan Johar hasn’t released any statement, it is being said that the damage is huge.
