John Abraham, who was last seen in “Romeo Akbar Walter” (2019), has a number of high-profile projects in his pocket right now. “The Transporter” series remake seems to be the newest addition to his repertoire.

After the release of Romeo Akbar Walter (2019), John Abraham has set his eyes on the remake of The Transporter. Yes, you heard that absolutely right! Speculations are rife in Bollywood corridors that the superstar is planning to remake the entire action franchise in Hindi.

The Transporter series comprises of four highly successful movies. The first film of the franchise hit screens in 2002. It was followed by the second installment in the year 2005. Transporter 3 made its entry into cinemas in 2008. The fourth installment, titled Transporter Refueled, hit the marquee in 2015. Not everyone knows that the fourth installment of the franchise had clashed with Abraham’s Welcome Back (2015) at the Indian box-office.

Apart from bankrolling the franchise, John Abraham will headline all the films. The actor has done a series of action entertainers in the past. The audience loved him immensely in action films like Dhoom (2004), Force (2011) and Force 2 (2016). Looking at his impeccable action abilities, we feel there can be no better actor than him to topline The Transporter series.

He also stars in a film called 1911, which is based on a historic 1911 football match played in the pre-independence era. The actor is also producing and starring in a movie about motorcycles.
