Janhvi Kapoor Starrer "Kargil Girl" Shooting Schedule Called Off And Here's The Reason!

The Lucknow schedule of Janhvi Kapoor's next movie based on the life of combat pilot Gunjan Saxena was reportedly called off. Here's why!

Janhvi Kapoor, who won hearts with her brilliant performance in Dhadak, is currently working on Kargil Girl. The film went on floors a few months ago, and the latest shooting schedule was supposed to begin in Lucknow, but the team had to postpone it because of rough weather.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the producer canceled the Lucknow schedule of Kargil Girl on Thursday due to warnings of the thunderstorm and the team plans to continue the shoot on 24^th May.

Mumbai Mirror also stated that after wrapping the Lucknow schedule, the team would be heading to the UK a month-long agenda in July.

Kargil Girl, directed by debutant Sharan Sharma, is based on the life of Gunjan Saxena, the first female combat pilot, who had joined the war zone in Kargil in 1999. Janhvi Kapoor will be getting into the skin of Gunjan Saxena while Pankaj Tripathi will be playing the role of her dad in the movie.

Meanwhile, apart from the Gunjan Saxena biopic, Janhvi Kapoor already has several exciting projects in the pipeline. She will appear in Karan Johar’s Takht, which boasts of an all-star cast including Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
